Report echoes fears of search marketing agencies setting the PR agenda

A major report on the public relations industry warns of the danger of search engine optimisation (SEO) agencies encroaching on the responsibilities of PR professionals.
This echoes a previous DWPub Sporadic which exposed the risk to the communications agenda posed by SEO companies.
The 117-page report, published by Key Note, points out that search engines "play a crucial role in any online activity" but warned: "By allowing SEO companies to dominate this particular communications field there is, many perceive, a danger."

Response Source in novel homage?

Author Sophie King has included what could be a homage to the Response Source Journalist Enquiries System in her latest book Mums@Home.
Two of the characters in the book, described as a ‘moving and engaging look at modern parenting’, use a ‘journalist enquiry system’. Could this be a homage to Response Source? Sophie would only say "I'm aware of Response Source and the wonderful job it does".
